StaSeviya Kheer

  • Kevada for flavour (to taste)
  • Butter or Ghee (optional) (1 Tbsp) 135 + Sugar (3 Tbs)
  • Sevai (3 Tbs )
  • Staeta Original (250 ml)



  • In a thick bottom pan, boil Staeta milk. Add roasted Sevai slowly. Cook on low heat setting, stirring occasionally.
  • When Sevai gets soft and milk starts getting thick, add sugar. Add Kevada flavour.
  • Pour into serving dish. It can be served cold or hot. Fresh fruit slices go very well when served cold. Try mango slices, peach slices or grapes or strawberry any of your favourite fruit.
  • Roast Sevai in a pan in butter or without butter, until pinkish.
  • This can be served for breakfast as hot cereal or pudding after meals.
